Our story

At the heart of BMS is our founder, Berta Maso—a leading HR executive and ICF-accredited Performance Coach with over 20 years of experience heading the People function for prestigious fashion brands during times of rapid growth and transformation and across Europe and the Middle East. Her unique journey has taken Berta across 6 countries, and with every professional chapter, she’s gained a rich, global perspective that shapes the way she works today.

Berta started her career in HR at Burberry and Christian Dior and worked her way up holding senior leadership roles at Villa Moda and Michael Kors.

Over time, her passion for personal growth and leadership led Berta to transition into performance and leadership coaching, working exclusively with C-suite executives and ambitious entrepreneurs. Berta is passionate about unlocking human potential and she relies on tools such as HOGAN ASSESSMENTS and DISC to do so.

In 2018, Berta strategically pivoted from corporate HR to entrepreneurship, founding a boutique HR consultancy tailored to the luxury sector. She quickly attracted clients ranging from emerging to established brands, including Mulberry, Patrizia Pepe, Tapestry, Dimore Studio, ASSOS of Switzerland and The Qode, providing A-Class services in talent acquisition, development and organisational transformation.
